In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the top 3 chess opening traps to win quickly in Blitz and Bullet games. What’s really cool is that even top rated players are unaware of these traps and are likely to fall victim to these subtle traps.

Most chess players play the natural, seemingly good moves, and won’t be able to spot the hidden trap. And with such short time controls in Blitz and Bullet, it would be really difficult to play the best moves.

Additionally, even if your opponent doesn’t fall into these traps, your position won’t be damaged and you can still continue the game as usual.

🤔 Why this course? 👇

Playing an opening based on understanding is great. Nowadays, we are swamped with opening lines that can go over 30 or 40 moves. Many of us are not chess professionals, so finding the time to study them is indeed challenging.

With this course you’ll learn aggressive ideas on some of the most common openings (not sidelines) which have withstood the test of time. Arm yourself with an intimidating repertoire based on all these aggressive openings!

From this course, you’ll learn:

✔️ Aggressive ideas For BOTH White and Black
✔️ Attacking ideas WITHOUT having to memorize lots of lines
✔️ Sound ideas that can be implemented even for classical games
✔️ Vigorously play with either colour!

  1. What if he just captures your D4 pawn after pushing up with his bishop

  2. bishup to b4 queen cant run because check ,queen has to take .
then knight to c2 check and take queen

  3. These are terrible. They only work if your opponent makes the wrong move, repeatedly. Most will do something different and your very out of position to defend yourself.

  4. in the first tactic white will always castle for above 1200 rated players and its terryfying so dont play it

  5. are you allowed to use this is chess turnaments?

  6. Hi Igor! Actually in 1st trap (Ponzi-steiniz gambit), if 6.d4 then h6 wins a piece

  7. Is it just me or do the links in description not work?

  8. In the 1st trap, he should castle and then it’s over?

  9. what if white castels. then you're stuck.

  10. Bb4 was the correct move, it pins the queen to the king. If Qxb4, play Nxc2 forking the king, the rook, and the queen, winning the queen for 2 minor peices, the bishop and the knight. I really know my coordinates.

  11. After QH4 white just castles and black is lost

  12. Tried the first trap as explained , my opponent just castled and I lost! What should I have done?

  13. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the solution to the chess puzzle is pawn to B4.

  14. Bb4 to pin the Queen. QxB…Nxc7+ to win the queen. 👍

  15. I belief if Q goes to c3, then we can fork the Q and K with the N, after we sac the B.

  16. thats a great ideal for sacerficing

  17. Bro I went on bullet and it actually worked in 6 seconds

  18. Why not castle after check-mate threat 1:19?? That neutralizes everything

  19. I'm not going to be attending any more chess invitational events given that the last one i was lured into apparently cost me enough money that I could have literally bought myself a brand new car and driven myself to where I arguably should have been anyway instead of left standing around freezing my ass off. My best move at this point is likely to just desist from playing chess entirely as it seems like this game is always a lose/lose proposition for me.

  20. Not very thorough analysis. White can just Castle. This trap will only work vs beginners.

  21. Bishop to b4 pin the Queen to the King and after Q×b4. Hahaha…
Triple fork (aka family fork) by ♞ ×c2 + and win the Queen and game…!!!

  22. what if, in first trap, the white castles after your Qh4 move?

  23. For the first variation, black "sacrifices" the bishop on B4. If white takes, knight gives check on C3 and you get the queen.
