Day 2 report on ChessBase India:

Day 1 report on ChessBase India:

The Opera Euro Rapid is the third event of the Champions Chess Tour. It is a 16-player event and India no.3 GM Vidit Gujrathi will be participating. These are the players of the tournament:

Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Levon Aronian, Alexander Grischuk, Wesley So, Anish Giri, Maxime Vachier Lagrave, Teimour Radjabov, Lenier Dominguez Perez, Hikaru Nakamura, Jan Krzysztof Duda, Vidit Gujrathi, Daniil Dubov, Sam Shankland and Matthias Bluebaum

The Opera Euro Rapid starts on Saturday February 6th and will conclude on Sunday February 14th which is also on Valentine’s day! Once again there’s a 3-day preliminary round-robin stage of rapid chess (15+10), before the top 8 players advance to the knockout stage. The knockout stage is exactly like the the previous events in this tour where each match is played over two days, with four rapid games each day. If the match score is tied 1-1 after the second day, the players will then play two 5+3 blitz games followed by, if needed – Armageddon.

Live commentary by IM Sagar Shah, Amruta Mokal and other guests.

  1. OMGGGG!! Radja never lost a game in this tournament. Veryy veryyyyy soild!!!

  2. 4:43:13 sagar bhai dozed of for a sec…claps for dedication being dead tired still there for VD and chess ❤️

  3. Biased Panel.Viditbase India .Last event when GM Hari participated no such focus and promotion was given to him despite his decent results.

  4. Idk.. why are most of the people thinking so extreme and also criticising our champion chess player. You all should appreciate him for doing better than previous and we all know he knows where and how he can improve more, can we help him? No. He is gonna make it himself, now if you wanna help him, give him that moral support, in our Country even Govt. does not show support to our great players, now at least you alll should support our champion players like Vidit!!

  5. Its internal matter of vidit outsiders should not speak about it 😂😂😂 (did you get the joke?)
    just kidding ofc x

  6. Vidit has just improved from the previous tournament. He just need to convert and take care of time pressure and he will go long. All the best to him❤️

  7. Anish make draws PEOPLE – DRAWISH GIRI BORING

  8. I like to watch your streams of chess tournaments after vidit is knocked out as it is less baised and boring

  9. Just a suggestion, please show other games frequently as well. I support vidit but i come here to learn chess as well. Whenever I join, vidit's game is on the board. Hope you know that this is chessbase india and not viditbase India

  10. The Problem With Sagar is He Overhypes Vidit's Game And Takes Viewers Expectations

High And At Top Level, it is Not Easy To Convert Unless you Have Clear Cut Advantage Now At This Point, Most people Start to Think That Vidit Is Not Able To Find Moves But If You Have Followed Other Games The Evolution Bar Keeps Changing But Commentators Don't Unnecessary Hype unless its Very Big Advantage

But here Sagar Starts To Hype Even With Minor Advantage And After All This Hype When Vidit Fails To Convert People In Chat Think That Vidit Is Playing Bad. But It is not as easy as Sagar Hypes. And BTW Vidit Has Personal Life Too we are no one To interfere There.

  11. VD OP !❤
Hit Hard Next time that the face of haters gets shatter ! ❤

  12. Why Vishy Anand not participating in latest tournaments?

  13. very good Chanel.i like this.Sagar shah and Amruta is imaging.thanks lot

  14. No hate just a suggestion
In nxt tournament please show every players game equally i know we all want vidit to win but bad luck may be next time i like how duda reach on 8th spot would to watch his game vs magnus

  15. Are these rankings correct ? Coz on Gotham chess I saw Anish vs Duda not Raja

  16. 🙄 comments section mey super GM ko hi gyaan dey rahey hai kai saarey non-professional chess players, forcing him to play well and prove himself as a super GM.. what else, in the name of "betterment and progress" ? 😂
Mentor ho kyaa uskay ? How well do you know Vidit ? He became a super GM in your absence.
Don't try to emotionally break him. He is a sensitive person.
It's so easy to type crap and show off to gain attention. Insaan ko deykhkar baat karo. Vidit ko suggestions dengey toh he will surely and happily read them all, but don't try to insult him.
Failure itself is a good teacher, if a learner is ready to explore and accept his/her present pluses and minuses. He knows where he is now and how to move further. If you can't support him, why being so eager to pull him down ?!

Amruta OP, Sagar OP, Vidit OP 💖♟️
    Take care Sagar bhaai 🌟
