For a change, I join the Daily Rapid Arena at the start of the tournament. I hope to play some instructive games, but can I also win it?

  1. 2312 is a “decently high rating?” Then I suppose mine is indecently low 🤭

  2. Zwischenzugzwang: an intermediate move you don't want to make.

  3. So happy you upload more on the extra channel these days!! Love your work and wish you all the best

  4. I love when I get into bed and check YouTube and see a nice long upload from this channel

  5. Regarding why the frame rate skips during analysis, this is because Lichess analysis uses Stockfish in the browser to perform engine calculations locally, which is quite CPU intensive. If you are using the same CPU to stream, there's not enough CPU grunt to go around. Switching to a 2 PC streaming setup would solve this, but it could also be helped by getting a GPU (and ensuring your video encoding is being performed by the GPU). Stockfish will always calculate on CPU.
