This is the first time I’ve competed in an Hourly Rapid Arena chess tournament while only recording locally(not during a livestream). The time controls for this 1 hour and 57 minute event is 10 minutes per player without any increment. For many years now, I continually receive comments about my voice and how it has been an aid with sleep. With a local record, I tend to speak softer when conveying my train of thought; I guess speaking to myself alone makes for this change. Recently I was curious to know what percent of viewers have fallen asleep while watching/listening to one of my videos: . Anyhow, I think this lengthier video of a slower than usual time control coupled with a softer voice may give you about a 71% chance of falling asleep. 😴 On a more serious note, I hope that at the end of the day you’ll be like the Twitter follower who said: “Rather than staring at social media on my bed, I prefer to watch one or two educational videos from your YouTube channel. Either I will learn something or I fall asleep because of your soothing voice. Win-win.”
I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. Consider subscribing here on YouTube for frequent content, and/or connecting via any or all of the below social medias. Your support is greatly appreciated. Take care, bye. 😀

How is this 2 years old!?
1:58:38 That Bf3 move deserves a double exclamation mark.
Excellent video !
Fun fact: I’ve fallen asleep before when editing the audio to one of my videos.
Have you ever fallen asleep while watching/listening to one of my videos?
I hope this one is helpful to your chess, if you can stay awake for it. 😊
I’ve shared more info in the video’s description.
