  1. I really miss Maurice, Alejandro and the red lady.

  2. Where's Hans Niemann? Why is he not in as a wildcard?

  3. Pls include anand in thumbnail of this video

  4. 1:02:26 That is wrong. Magnus said that for Pragg who ended on a 8.5/10

  5. We need to see more of the games and less of the analysis. Please.

  6. It’s waste of time to show the actual chessboard. Can’t see the positions properly. PLEASE show more of the live-boards instead of the rather stilted analysis. Why can we see a view of all the boards frequently?

  7. Ms. Paikidze please learn how to pronounce Firouzja and Šarić. That’s a minimum. 🥴

  8. Why are we missing the ending of games? We don’t need the tedious analysis. We need the games!

  9. Now we’ve missed the Gukesh draw. While the boring commentary goes on and on.

  10. It feels like Fabiano is playing subpar chess to hide his prep for the Candidates.

  11. Omg, the board looks like its from the middle ages

  12. Miro stealing the show and admitting it openly.

    Bravery. Honesty. The Man.

  13. Garry does not misses opportunity to speak about Ukraine ans Russia. What a fake character !!

  14. 1:15:10 Any record of variations where pawns can go backwards? (Knowledgeable replies welcome.)

  15. omg anand 20 years older than rest and still won 1st day , admirable

  16. Always having some woman sitting there at chess commentaries is a senseless ideological fashion of these more than strange times we are living in now for some years. Of course, this is at the expense of the possible high quality and interestingness, because this has to take a back seat to ideological determinations. As in all areas of today's life, there is only some woman sitting there because it is decreed out of an actually obscure principle. Underlying is the (in and of itself senseless) "political correctness". But the Millenials and Gen Z are ready to just go along with everything without thinking.
What is also repulsive is the machine-like nature of today's middle and younger generations; they show less and less human traits, are emotionless, unoriginal, smooth. They are pretty much characterless (no personality, no characteristics, no rough edges, but just smooth, like machines). They are largely fully indoctrinated and are as dumbed down as they are educated. Listening to them feels boring, even dead. They already completely fit the computer and "AI" world they've grown into.
Much more could be said about this time and its typical people (in this transformative phase) as they have been formed especially within the last ten to twenty years, but let's leave it at that. It is too depressing. It is good that there are still a few "old ones" like Seirawan, who clearly stand out with more lively and human traits – as long as they do not fall prey to political correctness themselves.

  17. audio is significantly lagged – unfortunately unwatchable.

  18. It's 2023 and you run a famous chess club. The audio went rouge after 20 minutes. Solving daily puzzles should have been a breeze during the broadcast for you guys and is expected of SLCC.
This is just embarrassing. Please fix it for the next days, we're all counting on it.
